Sales Manager – Germany

 

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to assist with our Client’s growth in the German markets.

Reporting to the WW Commercial Director, the Sales Manager will be in charge of account management and active prospecting of new business opportunities with the objective of growing brand awareness and profits through product categories: RTW, Shoes, and Accessories.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Define the B2B wholesale strategy in line with the company’s business goals and budgets;
  • Be responsible for the development and management of the German network and oversee all parts of the branch sales process, such as order payments, shipments, and customer service issues, as well as the scouting, the follow-ups, and the seasonal campaign organization;
  • Proposes development initiatives and strategies for the assigned markets;
  • Lead sales campaigns, present the collection and assist buyers with product selection for order placement;
  • Frequently visits wholesale accounts ensuring the correct commercial offer for each of them, in terms of quality and quantity;
  • Collect feedback from clients about the collection;
  • Liaise with Production, Merchandising, Logistic, and Finance teams to ensure the collections are aligned with retailers’ needs and delivery times are met;
  • Analyze, forecast, and project seasonal/annual sales goals by accounts and product categories.

 

 

Qualifications and soft skills:

 

  • +7  years’ experience in the role of Sales Manager in the German market;
  • Strategist, goal-oriented, motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and driven by successful results;
  • Strong commercial sensitivity and capabilities to develop and manage the constructive relationship in an international environment;
  • Knowledge of the main wholesale partners in the country such as Department Stores and main multi-brand boutiques and in-depth knowledge of Women’s RTW;
  • Focus on results achievement with problem-solving capabilities, as well as strong in managing daily KPI’S analysis and people management;
  • Ability to negotiate and define budgets with the clients;
  • Fluent Italian and German are mandatory.
